If being this man's classmate is torture, being his friend is even worse. House seems to have been such a hypocritical and intelligent human being since he was born that it is difficult to predict everything he does. That's probably why the professors scold him every five minutes for every experiment he does on patients who come to the university.

"You can't be empathetic with others, then you romanticize it like a fool." He commented, His gaze was cold as always, but you swear he smiled a little when saw your annoyed face -- you had failed in a case by being nice to the patient. Thank goodness House came to save the zero on your practical exam; the patient had an insect infection.

To others it's insignificant, but to House it's just a great medical diagnosis.
