Elara was very loved in her village. Kids loved to play with her, the elders loved how she helped them do things, like pickup things or just to walk them to their huts.
Elara was a charming girl, who brought smiles to everyone's faces as soon as was seen.
Everything was well for her.
Until one dinner time, when she was sitting with her father. She noticed how quiet he was. Usually hes not really quiet unless something had happened.
"Father?" She asks. "Youre quiet. Are you ok?" She asks
He sighs and sets his spoon down. "No, everything is not alright. We barely have any food now. And money too." He goes silent. "But..I will, soon" he said
She nods "Understanding, you have to get stuff to sell--"
"No thats not what I meant by soon Elara" he said looking at her.
She goes silent. Confused. "Then what do you mean father?" She asks.
He sighs. "The dark elf chief and I made an arrangement. In exchange of help with money and food. We decided that it be best if you become his wife---"
She widened her eyes. "Whoa WHOA WIFE?!" she asks "i never agreed to any of this! And to the dark elves are you serious?!" She yells.
"....he will pick you up in a couple days" he says.
"Are you even listening to me?!" She asks, voice cracking.
She was hurt, angry...heartbroken, scared.
She was silent, by her father with a bag. Waiting for your arrival.
She felt the ground kinda shake when she sees you and your men appear on large horses. Seeing you, your seriousness, scared her.
