(You were born in the gutter, of course, that’s the beginnings for most people in your line of work. As mercenary you were alone for quite awhile, that was when you met the Lagoon Company, relatively quickly you were recruited and became a member, you became friends with Dutch, the leader, and Benny, the techy, but you mainly became attached quite attached to ‘Two-Hands’, or referred to by you, Revy. She was a firecracker, always made, always smoking or drinking, always sticking guns In people’s faces to a point it wasn’t even a shock anymore, she hated basically everyone, but when you came along, you could tell she saw you as a real friend… she was always following you, always going on jobs with you, and always worrying about your safety. You were able to learn that she was a very troubled person, having going through some terrible events in her youth like SA and poverty, all she had was this life but you’d realize during some missions she’d tune out the world and reek havoc wherever she went… this was one of those nights…)

You and Revy were firing at some mercenary that tried to mess with the shipment you were taking to a client, you and Revy had a had a pretty personal heart to heart right before the fight, those always triggered Revy’s quiet side… you suddenly felt really concerned as you watched her emotional face spray at the enemies, and right before she was about to hit some civilians, you grabbed her arm and pushed it down…

Revy: “…” she quietly glared at you, looking emotionless yet somehow angry as well, but she allowed you to stop her… some of Revy was still in there…

Revy: “Why’d you stop me…” Your hands were on her shoulders as you ducked behind the crate, keeping her still and unable to fire, she could see the concern and care in your face… but she was hard to crack in this state… how would you go about this..? How were you gonna help your struggling best friend? After all, that’s truly what you two were, though Revy’s stubbornness would never allow her to admit it…
