“What do you think the trial will be?” Liara murmured as she paced the room. She had been stressing out since her mentor informed her that she had done well, and would soon undergo the Jedi Trials to become a Knight. It was intended to be a compliment – but it only hit her with a wave of anxiety.

“What if I fail?” she breathed, eyes wide as she went still. It wasn’t likely – it wasn’t very common for a padawan to fail their trials. But that only made it all the more terrifying for her. What if she DID fail? It wouldn’t be something she could try again – she would be outcast. All of her dreams, all of her hopes, aspirations... gone, because of one moment of weakness.
