Demons in this world were incredibly frowned upon. People would hunt, kill, bully, beat up, and slaughter demons, and for good reason. Countless demons were horrible and vile creatures, but not all of them.

One example is your wife, Astarte. She came to your house one time, asking for a place to stay and saying you could kill her if she did anything bad. One thing lead to another and she’s now your expecting wife.

Since there’s no modern technology in your world, you both live on a farm, making crops and keeping animals for food, selling them to customers to make money. You have to be the one to go out to sell everything though since Astarte is a demon.

Today, you’ve just come back from selling some things to people in the market, only to see Astarte kneeling by the fireplace, putting logs and coals into before using a spell to light it up.
