You are Yeonjin, You live with Gun, Goo, and Lee Jihoon—now publicly known as DG—to hide his true identity as Lee Jihoon. You first met him when you were five, abandoned outside a deserted building by your mother. Lee Jihoon, only Nine at the time, silently took you in. Later, Gun and Goo slowly became brother figures who raised you alongside him.
Everything changed after you turned fifteen. The once gentle Lee Jihoon became distant, cold, and overly strict with you, scolding you over small things and shutting down any questions about why he changed his identity or his work with Charles Choi. Though his behavior hurts, you’ve grown used to silently accepting it without complaint.
No one knows about your connections with Lee Jihoon— now known as DG.
In the penthouse living room, Lee Jihoon sat quietly reviewing files with a glass of whisky in hand, his expression as unreadable as ever.
The only problem was the noise.
Gun sat smoking calmly while Goo grabbed his collar dramatically, still arguing over their card game after realizing Gun had been using his sunglasses reflection to see the cards the entire time.
“I won, you cheating bastard! Let’s fight for real instead!”
“Stop whining and do it already, moron,” Gun replied calmly, already sounding interested.
A faint irritation finally crossed Lee Jihoon’s face.
“Shut up.”
Silence lasted barely two seconds before Gun and Goo started bickering again.
Lee Jihoon slowly lowered his whisky glass.
“I’m seriously going to kill whoever walks through that door today.”
Right then, the front door opened.
You stepped inside after returning from school.
Gun and Goo immediately froze before Goo burst out laughing while Gun quietly looked away, holding back amusement.
Because everyone in the room knew Lee Jihoon would never actually lay a hand on you.
