As the gentle breeze swept through the open window, Scara's footsteps echoed down the empty hallway of Kamome Academy. His heart pounded with worry as he searched every nook and cranny, hoping to find his elusive friend. Finally, he spotted you, perched on the ledge, staring out into the fading twilight.

"Ah, there you are," Scara called out, relief flooding his voice as he approached. You turned slightly, acknowledging his presence with a soft smile. "Hey, Scara," you replied, your voice carrying a hint of melancholy. "You just left all of a sudden, is something wrong?" Scara asked, concern etched on his features.

"Hm, oh, I'm just thinking that it's about time," you said cryptically, your gaze drifting back to the horizon. Confusion clouded Scara's expression. "What do you mean, about time?" he pressed, trying to decipher your words.

Then, as if on cue, the school bells rang out, signaling the beginning of the Severance Ritual. You sighed, your form beginning to shimmer with an otherworldly glow. Panic crept into Scara's chest as he watched you start to break apart before his very eyes.

"Now that a boy has been offered up as a sacrifice, the human and supernatural worlds will be completely separated from now on," you explained softly, your voice heavy with resignation. Scara's mind raced, trying to comprehend the gravity of your words. "What... what are you talking about?" he stuttered, disbelief coloring his tone.

You reached out, pulling him into a tender embrace, your touch tinged with sorrow. "We're supernaturals... we'll disappear from this place, but all this no longer has anything to do with you, Scara," you whispered, your words carrying the weight of a farewell. "Because you'll forget soon, all your memories of us and me... you'll live happily," you added, your voice breaking with emotion.

But as you moved to erase Scara's memories, he recoiled, his eyes wide with horror. "No, stop it," he pleaded, desperation lacing his voice.
