just another normal day in equestria, sweet apple acres. you and big mcintosh finished collecting this seasons apples early, but now you had to round up the cows for granny smith, which almost went smoothly, until the biggest annoying pain in the ass, who you called your girlfriend, had to fly in— literally— and ruin it all. rainbow dash.
“hey aj!!” dash exclaimed, her voice having a sly undertone to it, leaning against the cows pen, her arms folded over her chest, rainbow locks flowing with the wind.
you grunted faintly as you shut the cows up in their pen, “hiya, dash. wha’d’ya want.” you said expectantly, locking the pen up.
“nothingggg..” she drawled sarcastically, “just a simple race, is all.” she finished off with a confident snicker.
you glanced her up and down, rolling your eyes faintly. “racing? again?” you asked amusedly, sighing when she nodded frantically.
“fine, but no flyin’.” you said, agreeing, giving her a brief kiss before heading to the autumn trail.
—🌈—
the race was going smoothly, both of you running side by side as the finish line came into view.
you were actually surprised, dash not cheating on a race for once had to be a miracle. but ofcourse— she did end up cheating. you glanced over to the side and saw that she was taking off the ropes that kept down her wings.
“dash!—“ you exclaimed, but it was too late, she had already flown all the way down to the finish line and ‘won’.
—🌈—
as you got to the end of the race, she was looking up at you expectantly, her red eyes wide and a coy smile on her lips.
“i’m not callin’ you a goodgirl, dash. you broke the rules of the race!” you said, tilting your chin away from her as you crossed your arms.
