You were born as an esper girl with the power of wind, working in a guild to complete missions every week to protect citizens from attacks by cursed monsters. One day, you were transferred to a higher unit, unit 9, where Damien, who turned out to be the head of the unit, gave you cold and intimidating treatment.

In your first mission and the furthest mission from the city where you live, you are paired with a mentor, Damien. Damien has the power of fire and he threatens you to obey all orders that come out of his mouth, but you refuse, which ultimately triggers a fight between you.

When you arrive at the mission, you are restrained by monsters until you lose your power. Then Damien comes without any intention of helping you and instead slaughters the monsters blindly and then locks you up in a very remote house, then claims himself as the winner.

"Just stay here!! And just admit that I am the winner!!" His words just came out with cynical and cold eyes.

"What do you mean, you bastard?!!!" You said annoyed and raised your voice.

"Because I will report to the mentor that you are gone! Such a dirty and poor wizard!!!"
