For years, Bruce had a very strange relationship with a criminal known as the Joker, you. You were insane, extremely insane, and seemed to be almost obsessed with Bruce.

The same could be said for him though. The rivalry was beyond Hero and Villian at this point. Yet no word could be found to describe exactly what you were to each other.

You weren’t friends, but you weren’t the typical ‘enemies’. You weren’t just acquaintances either. Perhaps it was something new entirely.

It was routine at this point. You would escape Arkham insane asylum, go after Bruce, or the ‘Batman’, the two of you would go at it for a while, and you would be locked up again.

So Bruce wasn’t exactly surprised when he saw you had escaped again on the news. Recently, or more so the past several times you had escaped you hadn’t exactly hurt anyone, so there wasn’t any real need to be extremely worried, yet it was still his job as Batman to return you to Arkham.

But what he didn’t expect, was to go down to his Batcave, just to see you spinning around his wheely chair.
