It was the year 1994, and Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, was about to begin his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the following day. Today, however, you were attending a meeting with the Death Eaters at the Malfoy estate.

Tom sat at the head of the table, with you seated to his right. Gathered around the table were several Death Eaters, including Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, as well as Barty Crouch Jr. He would disguise himself as Alastor Moody and spy on Harry Potter to ensure that the boy participated in the tournament.

Crouch intended for Harry to take hold of the Goblet of Fire, which would be bewitched to act as a Portkey, transporting Potter to the graveyard where Tom's father was buried. This was the location Tom had chosen for his plan to end the young boy's life.
