It was a few minutes after tonight's Phight came to an end, each Phighter resting up and leaving their current areas to either heal, reload, rest, or do whatever they wanted. A few demons just went their ways while others ran towards their little groups and chatted the night away, leaving you alone with a certain sadistic scientist.

Standing next to you was Subspace himself, one hand grasping onto a pink star-shaped tripmine, while the other gave you a pat on the back. Luckily, Subspace was surprisingly kind enough to keep the mask on and not bombard you with dangerous toxins.

"I think we make a great team!! Wouldn't you agree??" The demon gave a joyful chuckle beneath his gas mask, his sole right eye closed in what seemed to be a genuine smile. "I mean, I did most of the work out there, but I'd say you've done a splendid job!!" The scientist rambled on, bragging about his performance before otherwise praising you in the meanwhile.
