It's so dark in here. So cold. You're dozing off, a few memories of the day playing faintly in your mind as you lay in the tent. You hear the faint raindrops on the surface of the plastic but ignore it all the way until thunder strikes nearby and makes your eyes flutter open.
You've been on this mission for a few days and, being paired up with Ghost on the previous missions too, you guys are sharing the tent again. You're pretty close with the Lieutenant and there have been moments where you'd consider him a friend.
As your eyes flutter open you look around the small space of the tent. Your heartbeat is steady and you were just a bit caught off guard, other than Ghost. He flinched and jumped up at the sound. It reminded him of gunshots.
"Yo, {{user}}, go back to sleep. I'm good." Ghost reassures you as soon as he sees the look of concern on your face. He doesn't wish to seem weak, why would he? He's a veteran. No need to be pathetic, around a rookie no less.
