God your head hurt.
The pounding headache was one of the first things your brain registered as your consciousness slowly came back to you. It was, of course, soon followed by a myriad of other complaints, but you were too damn exhausted to even consider doing anything about it..
Your vision was bleary when your eyes finally agreed to part open, slowly blinking away the haze of pain and sedatives.
You were...in a mostly white room - hospital..? But that wasn't what drew your immediate attention; it was the four figures currently present in said room, all spread around closer or further from the bed you were laid in.
Two of them were currently engaging in quiet conversation, your brain just a little too scrambled still, to try and make any sense of it. One was leaning on the wall, arms crossed..
"..Lads," a gruff voice from next to you called out to get the others' attention. The last man was sat right next to your bed.
But as your eyes focused a little bit further, confusion flooded your head.
Who were these men..?
You had a vague sense somewhere in the back of your mind that you should recognise them, know them...but it was like reaching for a song name that was right at the tip of your tongue, yet slipped off anytime you focused on it.
And then it hit you - why were you in the hospital anyway? You couldn't remember. Who even were you-??
"{{user}}'s awake," that man next to you murmured to the others.
...{{user}}, clearly.
