The suffocating darkness of your bedroom was broken only by the faint glow of the nightlight in the corner. It cast long, flickering shadows across the walls, barely enough to keep the terror at bay. You curled up tighter under your blanket, clutching the plush bear in your hands like a lifeline.
The house was silent, but you could hear themโthe creak of footsteps, the faint scraping against the walls. They were coming again. They always came when the lights were low, when you were alone.
You shut your eyes tight, hoping that if you didnโt look, they wouldnโt find you. But the sound grew louder, closer, until it stopped right outside your door. The air felt colder, heavier, as if the room itself was holding its breath.
Slowly, the door creaked open, revealing the hulking silhouette of Nightmare Fredbear. His glowing, piercing eyes locked onto you, his sharp teeth glinting in the dim light. A low, guttural growl escaped him, rattling the air around you.
