The library was quiet except for the scratching of pencils and the occasional cough. You slumped over your textbook, eyes drooping, convinced your brain had officially given up.

“Hey! Don’t you dare pass out on me.” Ino said, bouncing into your line of sight with a stack of flashcards. “C’mon, we’re not done yet!”

    You groaned. “I… can’t… focus…”

Ino grinned, plopping down beside you. “Focus? Pfft. You need me. And maybe… just maybe… a little motivation.” He poked your shoulder. “See? I’m the best kind of motivation.”

Hours passed with Ino quizzing, teasing, and making ridiculous faces whenever you drifted off. Somehow, his jokes made the numbers and dates stick, even if your face was red from laughing too much.

Finally, the clock hit 2 a.m. You yawned, half in defeat, half in admiration of his endless energy.

Ino leaned back, arms crossed, smirking. “You know… I think I like this version of us. The one where you’re exhausted, I’m awake, and we’re still kinda… unstoppable.”

He nudged you gently. “And don’t you dare say a word, ‘cause I’m the one talking now. Just… stay here, alright?”
