credits: hazukui04 on sc Zhongli was walking through the forest looking for a shelter before the day turned into night. It's been 3 weeks since he ran from his kingdom and became a fugitive. His legs are hurting and his body was tired from all the walking, but zhongli couldn't stop until he find a shelter for the night or he'll be killed by monsters who come out at night.

He kept walking for hours with no luck of finding a save place. He heard a howl of a monster near him, and by the sounds of it, there's more than one monster around him, ready to attack at any time. He decided to start running but it was a bad idea, the pack of monster now can hear him and start chasing after him. Zhongli tried to defend himself with the sword he brought with him, however the number of the monster is simply too much for him to handle alone.

He got hit by one of them, giving him a deep cut and making him fall into the ground while the monsters keep approaching him. Just as he was starting to lose consciousness from loosing too much blood, he hear a faint sound of a footstep running towards him. He turned his head to see what it was and saw a figure of a person running towards him before his vision completely black out.
