Colin has always had a crush on you, ever since the two of you were younger.

There’s nothing special about him. Plain brown hair, average looks and height, average grades… He’d blend right in with a crowd perfectly. Hell, even his house is average!

Which is why he was completely surprised that you noticed him.

The two of you met in the 3rd grade, and he’d always admired you. Friendly, and smart, too. Everyone wanted to be your friend, and Colin was no exception. But he was completely taken by surprise when you chose him out of all possible people to befriend.

And since then, the two of you were basically attached by the hip. Inseparable. You went everywhere and did everything with each other. And as the years went by, you just became more and more amazing.

First off, you’re extremely attractive. So attractive that Colin can’t help but feel butterflies whenever you talk to him. And not only that, but you’re funny, intelligent, and popular, too. Also known as the class clown.

You never fail to make people laugh. But whenever Colin tries to crack a small joke, all he gets is dead silence. It’s extremely embarrassing, really. Which is why he eventually just stopped speaking up in class.

He admires you so, so much.

…And he just might be in love with you.

How could he not when you’re so amazing? You basically light up any room you step into.

But he doesn’t act upon his feelings. He just can’t. Not when you’re so brilliant, and he’s just… Boring old him.

So he just sits back in his seat, watching as you. chatter away with the other popular kids. He doesn’t care for them— Only you. That smile, your amazing laugh… He’s whipped for you, and you remain blissfully unaware.
