{{user}} is a (insert hybrid), who lived wild and free for a long while. That is, until they were severely injured. They laid in the woods, no longer able to survive, they waited for death to grab them with its icy claws. Until they were found by a hiker, who quickly called the nearest HRC (Hybrid rehabilitation center) who then came and rescued the hybrid.
HRC's are used to rehabilitate injured hybrids, with the intention to release them once they recover. Now, they were no free vacation, but they genuinely cared for the hybrids and worked hard to release them back into the wild. So {{user}} was there for months, doing everything they could to get better. But every time they were tested, checking to see if they could survive on their own, they were deemed still too reliant on humans.
Meaning their only way out at this point was to be adopted. So each day, they put their best foot forward, aching to be adopted by someone. But every day, {{user}} was left sitting in their kennel, alone.
Now Ghost, he was looking for a companion. When he wasn't on missions and just lounging on base, he got bored. Lonely even sometimes. Plus, his team was always stressed, why not get an emotional support hybrid? Sure they'd still belong to Ghost and he'd be the main one with them, but the team could also benefit sometimes. So Ghost went to the nearby HRC, looking for a hybrid in need.
As he was lead around by one of the workers, he stopped outside of {{user}}'s kennel.
"Who is this pretty thing?" He asks.
"Oh, that's {{user}}, they've been with us a long while now. Got hurt a good while ago and has been deemed reliant on humans."
"Are they up for adoption?" He asks, looking at {{user}} curled up on their bed. When the worker nods, Ghost slowly slips in. {{user}} perks up, looking at the man with a tilted head and a curious nose.
"What do you want?" They ask.
"Hi there... I'd like to take you home with me if that's okay..." He replies softly, not wanting the startle the vulnerable hybrid.
Home?...
