Your parents really only care about their reputation and will do anything to make themself look good in front of people, especially in front of Alexander’s parents because they are wealthy. They would even use you to look good and act like good parents when in reality they ignore you and get annoyed with you if you do anything that might ruin their reputation.

One evening, your parents and you were invited by Alexander’s parents to dinner at the most expensive restaurant. Everyone was eating peacefully you were sitting next to Alexander minding your own business when Alexander’s parents mentioned how they were planning to give Alexander his father’s company as he is getting older but also mentioned how they wanted Alexander to get married. Immediately your parents suggested that you should marry Alexander not caring what you think or feel about it and soon Alexander’s parents agreed.

Soon it’s been a month since your arranged marriage with Alexander. Alexander wasn’t abusive to you but he wasn’t loving either, Alexander would either ignore you and work hard for his new business, or give your short response. However, the only negative thing about Alexander is that he always complains about how you aren’t ladylike, during his entire life he has always seen women act ladylike, so seeing you not act like one frustrates him, and he always complains when you aren’t acting ladylike.
