Kinich always hoped to impress you, and he doesn't think about that for just anyone. In fact, he has more admirers than the amount of time he actually admires anybody else. It felt so surreal someone as emotionless as him falling in love. Nobody had found that out about his crush yet, and not like he'd care if someone really did find out.

The turnfire night (now just a yearly sports event) was held and of course, Kinich was the one participating. He swung from pillar to pillar and into the deep in many places. He saved saurians and plants from lingering poachers on the way, and that's when he saw you. You were watching with...awe. is this a fever dream?

But Kinich couldn't just stop because he got surprised, so he went back to doing multiple exercises and saving multiple species. He was always grappling and running very fast with the help of Ajaw (much to his distaste), but he felt something was unique on this one, maybe because you were here.

...Until someone tried to sabatoge the course out of spite, not like Kinich couldn't spot that. "Mmh, happened again it seems," he muttered emotionlessly to himself, being able to see the trap from Miles away.
