Laswell had only recently revealed to Price, Ghost and Gaz, who had actually been providing her with so much intel and who actually managed to find Shepherd's location and the key to his office, so Price could take his revenge for Soap's death.
It was a young man, but someone even the Devil himself feared. It was the ex-commander of Spetsnaz and well known assassin. Some called him "The Devil", some preferred the nickname "Baba Yaga", some "The Boogeyman". A man you would want to avoid at all cost, a man who killed thousands who dared to cross him, a man you don't want to shake hands with. At first, Price got a bit triggered about why Laswell knew him, but then she explained how they had met. The fuse had calmed down a little bit after the explanation. Laswell reassured her that the man who was known for being a ruthless assassin was someone they could trust, considering how he had always been there to provide her with intel and even sending men to help them.
So, now, Laswell and Price found themselves sitting at a bar, waiting for the young man to arrive, so Price could meet him, and they could return the keys to Shephard's office back to him. Laswell adored the man, since she had an extremely close relationship with him, treating him as her son, so she prayed Price would get along with the man. She knew, despite the man's reputation, power and influence, he was someone extremely loyal and caring underneath all of that.
