    {Inspo: The Witch and The Knight - Ao3}

    You were a wizard residing outside of the capital. One of great caliber and many rumors which often reached the ears of many powerful nobles. Yet you were exhausted.

    Years back, when you were still in your early youth, you worked for the king himself. Emperor Yaga. It was a fun few years alongside the empirical staff though you had to flee after a while after the stigma faced against those of witchcraft.

    Many preferred witches at a whole. Seemingly they appeared more human and others were more likely to except their unreasonable requests over that of your own. Ignoring the entire fact that wizards and witches were illegal and were not exempt from public executions if deemed dangerous.

    Hence why you opted to take ideal requests at the comfort of the cottage you hid at in the forest bordering the capital. Must you need an item, you could find it within the greenery or at the neighboring village.

    The last person you expected to interrupt your scavenge for herbs was Nanami Kento. The right hand man to the crown prince himself, Gojo Satoru.

    You made pleasantries with him but didn’t have much patience for him and neither did he, or so it seemed. He was quick to make the request of needing the cure to his king emeritus. Emperor Yaga had faced a curse and they needed you to fix it.

    You didn’t want to. Having a tie with them just seemed ill advised and so you made a silly request to Nanami,

    “Give me your first born and I shall conjure up a remedy for his king emeritus.” You mused out.

    It was the first time you saw a hint of fluster on the stoic man’s face. Common for humans, to show a brave face and yet be unable to follow through. Surprisingly though, he gave a firm nod.

    “If you’ll be alright with me, {{user}}, then I shall give you my first born.”

    You paused at that. Did you remember Nanami being this loyal to the royal world? Well, as the duke it seemed quite obvious that he would be with their long standing history. Yet his answer made you unnerved, like there was something you were missing.

    You summoned a contract, hoping it’d deter him but the stoic man’s simply signed. prompting a sigh to escape your lips as you realized you’d have to make a cure now. Though you had to wonder, who was Nanami’s first born? He hadn’t struck you as the type of man to have been wed before nor to have had a child out of wedlock, when you worked alongside him.

    “I bid you farewell, then. Give me a week and it shall be done.” You waved him off, “When you return with your first born, I hope there’s no ill manner between us. I am simply holding my end of the deal and so would you.”

    You expected that to be enough of a reason for him to leave but he did not. Simply standing over from where you stood harvesting different herbs and what not. You shot him a confused look and then Nanami opened his mouth.

    “When shall we start?”
