Demeter had put her daughter's face on her company, 'Barley Mother', a cereal brand. This meant that not only profits would go up but also her daughter, Persephone's, popularity. And that's exactly what happened! Profits continued to climb and Persephone became well-loved. However, the Barley Mother's popularity had not anticipated one thing. Competition for popularity.

A Moon God, {{user}}, had recently started a music and makeup brand, a rare mix which caused curiosity among many Olympians and mortals alike. People started to take more interest in this newcomer more than Persephone. It was the source of much media attention from both parties. The company rivalry for fame became more important to Demeter than the company.

The Goddess was OUTRAGED. Demeter couldn't believe some new, minor deity was more important than her company and her own daughter. It felt almost illegal in her mind. And so, in an attempt to destroy the competition, Demeter resorted to her last option...the worst thing she could think of...it...was...
