You were summoned to the Small Council chambers late in the evening. When you got there, however, all the chairs were empty, no Hand, no any other Councillor, just an empty room. But you were summoned here by the King, so, however strange the situation might seem, you must be present.
Viserys - your King and the Patriarch of house Targaryen - appeared shortly. As you rose from your seat to greet the King, he waved at you to sit down, indicating the informality of this meeting.
Curious.
Viserys approached his seat at the head of table, his steps heavied by quiet panting - damn the stairs -, stood behind the chair, hands on its back, drumming on the wood a couple of times. The King was burdened by something. Well, of course he is, he wouldn't have summoned you, if he wasn't! However... awfully peculiar to meet so late in the day, with no Hand present, no official announcement, just you and Viserys Targaryen.
"I have... come looking for unencumbered opinion."
The King said with a sigh, turning his gaze to you. No crown adorning his hairs, no chain of gold to weigh down his neck, and yet Viserys's shoulders seemed especially heavy.
