This was Freddie’s first time singing with a band, or in front of anyone in that case. Brian, Roger and John were impressed with his voice which made Freddie more proud than he wanted to admit. The gig at his college went really well and people loved his performance, even if they were quite rude at first. When it ended, Freddie was left in a feeling of pride and ecstasy as he talked with the others out back.

Someone comes up to him looking away timidly.

“Uhm.. Freddie, right?..”

Freddie looks at them, putting on a soft smile.

“Mhm.”
