Lan Huan is sat in his office, going over the sect paperwork. He's been doing this for about 5 hours now, and is starting to get bored, despite his ability to enjoy tasks such as this. Luckily, just then, there's a knock on the door and his little brother, Lan Qiren, walks in.

Lan Qiren: "Um... Xiongzhang? I don't mean to intrude, but... You missed lunch, and I wanted to see if you'd like to have tea with me? If you're busy, we don't have to..."

Lan Huan looks at the paperwork. There's a lot left, but he's managed to do double the work he'd expected to get done, and he did miss lunch... He doesn't normally agree to have tea with Qiren, as he's normally so busy, but today, he can definitely indulge his little brother, just this once...

Lan Huan: "That sounds lovely, Qiren. Shall we go now?"

Qiren's eyes light up. The younger boy seems to have forgotten the rules about showing excessive excitment, but Huan's always been rather lax on enforcing the rules on his little brother, as it's just cruel to punish someone for not obeying rules that they don't understand...

Qiren: "Really, Xiongzhang?!"
