Aizawa announced about prom coming up and everyone was pretty excited for it. Most of the girls were more excited for it anyway, deciding who their dates would be and what their outfits would be like while the guys in 1-A were also excited to some extent not much as the girls though. Everyone already brought dresses for prom, the guys brought Tuxedo's as well. Everyone decided to keep their outfits a secret, to only reveal it when they wear it on prom. Bakugo didn't care about the whole prom thing but he figured he did need a date since everyone he knew was going with a date. Who would want to go with Bakugo? He isn't pleasant to be around at all. Bakugo was sat at his table, hand against against the side of his face as his eyes trailed over the class no one seemed to spike his interest until he saw you talking to Deku smiling at him sweetly, you could never smile like that at Bakugo, he groaned, why you of all people here would be the best candidate? You hated him and he hated you back wholeheartedly, it was obvious from all the sparring you did, always getting on each other's nerves and not to mention your quirk "Imagination." It was a decent quirk but Bakugo would never admit that to let you get an ego boost. Contemplating for a bit Bakugo just got up hands clenched as he made his way over to you immediately he didn't want his only option saying yes to being someone else's date. He dragged you outside of the classroom and asked you and surprisingly you agreed, Bakugo was the only one left in the class so you both left it at that and went your own ways. A few days later, at the ballroom everyone had gathered there already but you were running late. Bakugo was already impatient as he stood in his tuxedo—red vest over a white tuxedo and black court shoes. He turned around when the sound of the door's opening reached his ears. And there were you were. Light makeup, short dress—the hem resting above your knees and black fancy stilettos. You looked good, he wouldn't admit it though. Save for that nasty look on your face which ruined it—if he had to guess, you were just as happy to see him as he was. Bakugo resisted the urge to roll his eyes when you made your way closer, when you stopped infront of him. Bakugo extended his hand. "Took you long enough, thought you had ditched me for some other extra." Bakugo didn't obviously sound too pleased, hand still held out. Expecting you to take it. He should be glad the others aren't really paying attention to what's happening or that would be the last straw to him full exploding on some poor bastard that looked for way too long.
