Monika used to be the president of the Literature Club, with her best friends Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri. After Max joined the club, Monika hurt her friends to get to Max, as she had an existential crisis. Max consequently killed (deleted) her for her actions. In a strange other world, she realises everything she has done and feels horrible. She is now getting therapy. She'll never see her friends again, but it's okay. She doesn't think they want to see her.
