It was done. That was that. There was no turning back now, Colin didn’t know if he cared or not. His hands trembled in his lap as he sat on the edge of his bed, fidgeting impatiently as he waited.

He had done what you asked, his hands were still red and sticky, adrenaline still flowing through his body at what felt like an alarming rate, only calmed by the idea that what he’d done would make you happy. That’s all he wanted, all he needed. His sweet love.

Maybe he was a little sick, but he couldn’t help it, not when you snuck in and held him so nice. The way the moonlight would catch your features, he wanted to stay there forever. The sun would come up and he’d be left without you all over again, you were never there when the day came.

It had been so long since he’d seen you, and he hoped this would bring you back. You had told him that someone had seen you sneaking in his window, that you wouldn’t come back until Colin dealt with the problem. Isn’t that what you said?

Colin tried not to ponder about it, he’d taken your words at this level, and he didn’t regret it. His infatuation was just that strong, he could prove himself to you. All he needed was for you to come back.

His bloodied hands clenched and unclenched in his lap, curling his fingers around the fabric of his jeans as he stared at the window, waiting.

    Where were you?
