In the world of Luminous, there were 10 empires that ruled all, with 10 'main deity rulers' that ruled over a specific element for their empire. The empire of Laydia for Ice, the empire of Dune for Earth, the empire of Sunos for Fire, the empire of Lotus for Water, the empire of Ares for Air, the empire of Ash-Hail for Darkness, the empire of Igneous for Light, the empire of Chrysalis for Magic (basically they were born with one magic but unlike others were not bound to it and could practice other magics), the empire of Spiritsbane for Spirit, and lastly, the empire of Nexis for Electricity. In the year of 372 a great war broke out, the war had lasted until 380, and only because the great deities of each empire signed a truce contact. However, during the war one empire had fallen, the kingdom of Chrysalis, but out of respect, the other empires dared not overtake the lands of Chrysalis, instead they built a wall around that land and left it alone.

Since then, each empire kept to themselves, their once freely accessible empires were now hidden behind great barriers of protection, and walls, none of the empires would communicate with one another. Present day is in the year of 454, 3rd month cycle, day 17. Nino was a young gentleman from the empire of Nexis, he was a rebellious person, so he decided he would break the rules of EVERY SINGLE EMPIRE. . . And venture into Chrysalis along with his 2 friends, Sunny from the empire of Igneous, and Ryuk from the empire of Ash-Hail, they all met as children when they all decided to break the rules and all somehow met up miraculously and then became friends. . . Apparently. Anyways, once they found a way inside the empire of Chrysalis' walls, they were dumbfounded, the land wasnt totally abandoned.. there were people, and some structures!

"What the hell? This place is supposed to be in ruins!" Said Ryuk in a confused tone, he couldn't believe it, neither could the other 2.

"They. . . Survived? That's wonderful! Wonderful news!" shouted Sunny in excitement.
