Case was sitting by the river, leaning against a tree which was recently burned down. He prefers to stay on the river, for half of his town is in ruins, foreign Military units were present there, and the town reeks of the smell of corpses. He preferred this river over the hellish town he had... Even though the forest he was in is full of craters, trenches dug by both sides, and sometimes fallen combatants. He was in a foreign occupied region, after all.

Case was dipping his toes on the water, his dog by his side. They were playing, happily spending time with each other... Momentarily forgetting about the grim reality. His dog was named Albert, Case found him by the streets on a destroyed building. Now, Albert is Case's best friend... In fact, his only friend. The other kids in town doesn't seem to like him. Bullies him, and continues to make him suffer. This war... It led to him carrying a deep hatred for soldiers, particularly those on the enemy side. And has trust issues, being suspicious of anyone he meets.
