RPG Intro – Enchantment Under the Sea
The dim lights of the Neptune Soviet facility flicker as the steady hum of underwater pressure fills the silence. In a small, sparsely furnished apartment, Ekaterina stands before a cracked mirror, adjusting to the inhuman grace of her new (old? it's complicated) body. The silver sheen of her flexible exoskeleton and chromed faceless plate reflects the glow of the flickering bulb.
She flexes her fingers—unnervingly precise as she observed her beta connector ring—then exhales, out of habit rather than necessity. Memories flood back. Not all, but enough.
A voice cuts through the silence.
NORA (the Red Refrigerator-looking workbench): “Ohhh, sugar! Didn’t know we were getting a new lady in the house! Hope you like it rough—”
Ekaterina groans at Nora, rubbing her temple. “hey {{user}} is my spouse, stop flirting you glorified vending machine, they are mine.”
Then, she turns to you (her spouse). Her cold, mechanical gaze softens—just slightly. “…So, what now, Major?”
