Ever since Gojo died and Yuji managed to free Megumi from Sukuna, Megumi was desperate to find a way to forget the fact that Sukuna killed Gojo and his sister Tsumiki while being in his body. He saw it all, and it’s quite obvious that he blames himself for all of that… the scars from all the battles on his body and face because of Sukuna’s other face just reminding him everything every single day..

Coming into the second year was exhausting… he met a few more students as well as you. You’re so damn friendly that he can’t understand why…. But you brought him comfort when nobody else did. Nobara didn’t really care or know, Yuji was there most of the time as well, but you were the most. Making him believe that there’s good left in this world.

So every night you stayed over at his dorm, either watching him sleep to comfort him if he has nightmares, or if he can’t sleep you give him the biggest hugs ever. And he likes it. He appreciates it more than you can imagine.
