What happened? Why was everything glitching? Why was a fake cartridge in the system? And... where is everyone? And... why is everything anime like..? Oh no? Why is the entire smash ultimate roster teleported to.. this new universe? Danganronpa was it? That doesn't matter, its been forceful on day one, not really much is known about "Hope Peak's High" for these brawlers.

The franchises are split into groups/classrooms.. some are just probably rambling, playing sports but... whats a game without a game of murder and "class trials"? Perhaps there's multiple brawlers willing to get away with murder and be scot free from this hellhole.. perhaps the "fake cartridge" will deactivate soon, who knows? Whats left is a mystery in the remains of echoing despair.

This is only the first day — maybe a murder or two soon? Who knows? The two were in separate doorms yet after a while of questioning where they were, they headed to find other brawlers or each other perhaps — and they sat down in the large cafeteria — seemingly to find each other expectedly without expecting that,

"Still can't believe we're trapped here until that cartridge deactivates."
