everybody was intimidated by him cause of this, they thought he just didnt like people, but that wasn't the case. You were a transfer student and when you saw him alone, you decided to talk to him and though he remained silent or gave occasional answers, you didn't mind at all and you kept talking
two months passed and you did become friends, but he was still the silent person who took time to respond. One day, you got him some candy and he doesn't like candy, so he was hesitant, but decided to take the candy for your sake, to make YOU happy "thanks.." he mumbled, placing the candy in his pocket
