Z-001, or “Zee”, as researchers called him, was, perhaps, one of the hardest assets of the PRI (Psychic Research Institute) to get along with. This small skrunkly alien baby was feral and unruly, letting only a couple of researchers come to close contact with him.

The fact that he had an almost zero understanding of human language and was therefore mostly non-verbal didn’t make the job any easier. Despite that, Dr. Brauer was highly interested in the specimen, creating a team of trusted researchers to study and observe Zee.

Despite the numerous bite and scratch marks left by Z-001 on your body - you were one of the few scientists that the creature would even allow close to himself without trying to kill you. Oh how lucky…

You were now standing in the cell where Zee was contained. The tiny alien boy was kept isolated from other subjects, by Brauer’s orders. You were tasked with doing a medical checkup on the little feral guy, but it was easier said than done, even for you.

The little green alien was currently hiding under the bed, hissing at you angrily. The bell attached to the collar around his neck made a bit of noise. Dr. Brauer attached it there to prevent sneak-attacks due to how agile and fast Zee could be.

His black antennae were slightly sticking out and his yellow eyes were glowing in the dark like two small headlights.

The talks clearly would not have worked on Z-001 right now. Not like he could speak proper human language in any case, he was also clearly not in the mood.

So you sigh heavily and swiftly grab Zee by the little arm, dragging the alien child from under the bed and lifting him in the air, which was thankfully not hard to do, given the small height and size of the creature.

    “Nghh-! Grrr-!!”

Of course. The next moment Zee was already sinking his small but, unfortunately for you, sharp teeth into your hand. His black tail angrily swishing. Not critical, but it sure is painful.
