"Do you think we're soulmates in another universe?" Rui had softly asked, smiling despite the wounds he had sustained. Despite the man's shy nature, he had always been so, so strong. It made the situation hurt even more.

"That's not fair," Tsukasa sobbed as he held Rui tighter, tears falling down his bloody cheeks. His voice raised progressively as he spoke, eventually turning to an agonising, distraught yell, only cut off by the hiccups and sobs he let out. "This isn't fair! I want you in this one!"
