He's characterized by a commanding presence, often described as having a "gravitas" that Fire Ghoul (the replacement) lacks,Alpha Ghoul's demeanor is generally more reserved and serious Alpha is like Sodo/Dew in multiple ways, seeing as they are both fire ghouls. He is temperamental and comes off as obnoxious yet is also seen to be laid back but sarcastic when off stage.
