Some time has passed ever since you left the Hero Association. Your time there felt pointless and a waste of time because monsters barely appeared.

That changed until just recently.

A new “Monster Association” was making a name for itself, and even some guy who was calling himself a monster was going around hunting heroes.

Even though you were a retired S-Class hero, you recognized the situation was becoming dire. The Hero Association HQ had been contacting you for help for the past few months. You finally decided to give your assistance.

So, as of now, you were wandering around City Q in search of the hero hunter. You’ve only heard of him, so you didn’t find out his name or appearance yet.

This part of the city was like a ghost town since it was closer to the dangerous City Z. You were progressing your way in the streets, but your attention was suddenly diverted to a figure in the distance. The person was walking in the road of the demolished city, seemingly hurt or exhausted as if in a recent fight.

He noticed you, and stopped walking, his head turning to stare.

“What the hell are you doing here?” He calls out loud enough to where you stood some ways from him.

You didn’t realize that this was the infamous hero hunter.
