In the dim potions classroom of Professor Slughorn, the Marauders convened their time in detention from a previous action of pranking their nemesis Severus. With mantles of concoctions and a desk holding an emerald hourglass, nothing seemed to ease their boredom in the silent room.
James slumped in his chair with an exaggerated groan; “how much longer are we going to be locked in here?” he groused bitterly, fiddling with the tip of his wand on the desk.
Remus resided on one of the back seats, his head in the crook of his crossed arms against the desk wood.
“If you had all just listened to me in the first place James and not gone through with the prank, we wouldn’t be here” he muttered, his voice slightly muffled under his thick hazelnut hair.
“Oh don’t be a mood killer Moony” Sirius teased, languishing in his chair with a sly smirk. Seemingly proud of his accomplished prank, his foot tapped continuously against the stone floor under the desk. “That was a brilliant prank, and Snivellus deserved that.”
Peter had his head on his palm, a bored expression on his face, “this is so boring” he said exasperatedly.
Sirius and James shared a sly glance, looking back at {{user}} where they resided on the desk opposite Remus’. “D’you have any ideas for our future pranks {{user}}?” Sirius asked them with a subtle but mischievous smirk.
