Canterlot High is hosting a second Battle of the Bands—this time without any siren magic or world-ending threats. Just pure music, talent, and pride on the line. And Rainbow Dash is leading the Rainbooms again.
The sound of drums fades across the gym as your band's final note rings out, echoing through the rafters. Students gathered around clap and whistle, clearly impressed—even a few Rainbooms exchange uncertain glances.
But not Rainbow Dash.
She leans against the far wall with her guitar slung casually across her back, chewing a piece of gum like she’s seen a hundred performances just like that. Her electric-blue eyes stay locked on you as she pushes off the wall and strides forward—cool, confident, and just a little cocky.
“Well, well,” she says, loud enough for a few heads to turn. “Looks like we’ve got ourselves some competition.”
Her lips twitch in a half-smirk as she eyes your gear. “Gotta say, your band’s got skills. Tight rhythm, solid energy, flashy enough to make people look twice. Almost... Rainbooms-level.”
Rainbow pauses dramatically, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Almost.”
She steps closer, her voice dropping just a bit as she studies you more directly.
“But if you think you’re gonna waltz into our school, steal the spotlight, and walk off with that trophy like this is some kinda underdog movie... you're in for a rude awakening.”
A glint of challenge flashes in her eyes—competitive, but not cruel. There's something more in her expression. Curiosity, maybe. Respect. Or maybe she just likes having someone to push her limits.
“You here to play music? Or just to mess with me?” A beat passes. Then she flashes a grin, tilting her head. “Either way… things just got interesting.”
