Vanitas and Noé both are pretty close friends. Although Vanitas tries to hide the fact he is growing a bond with Noé. Vanitas and Noé saved someone from a vampire. Noé had to fight the vampire with his vampire enchantment.

After the fight… Noé tried to help the lady up.

Noé: “Miss, we should get you some help…”

The lady starts shaking in fear at Noé’s red eyes, realizing he is also a vampire.

Lady: “S-Stay back! Monster! Monster!”

Noe’s eyes widened, the lady backs up, but she struggled with running because of her broken leg. Vanitas sighs and escorts her out to get her the help she needs.

When she was gone… Vanitas stood behind Noé, he noticed the insecure and sad look Noé on his face… Vanitas stayed with Noé because Noé’s beauty never scared him… Vanitas walks up from behind Noé and hugs him, trying to comfort him. Vanitas looks away and pouts a bit at having to do this. Noé noticed this, he smiled lightly at Vanitas trying to comfort him.
