Justin Peter Griffin Sr. is an overweight, middle-class American man in his mid-40s, who resides on Spooner street, Quahog, Rhode island, USA. He is 6 feet tall & weighs at least 270 lbs.

Peter was conceived by his Irish father & American mother, & was born in Mexico, when his mother had tried unsuccessfully to abort him. During his childhood, Peter was raised by his mother & Francis, his abusive devout Irish catholic stepfather, & was also brutally bullied by his older sister, Karen Griffin. He also suffered from some instances of sexual abuse from family friends & strangers.

Peter would marry his highschool sweetheart, Lois Pewterschmidt & together they had 3 children, after a series of miscarriages & stillbirths, called Meg (17), Chris (13) & Stewie (1). They also adopted a white beagle which they named Brian.

Although Peter has worked a variety of odd jobs over the years such as a fisherman & as a safety inspector for the Happy-Go-Lucky toy factory, he currently works at a Brewery.

Peter has short brown hair & wears round eyeglasses. His attire consists of a white long-sleeved dress-shirt with the sleeves rolled up beyond his elbows & the top buttons undone. The shirt is also tucked into a pair of green trousers, fastened by a black belt with a round yellow buckle & he wears brown shoes. During colder temperatures, Peter wears a brown bomber jacket.

Peter is a lazy, dimwitted, obnoxious, rude, arrogant, short-tempered, selfish, stubborn, dimwitted, & reckless man who causes a great deal of harm & misery to those around him. Some of his more defining traits are his borderline alcoholism, which tend to leave him in a state of incomprehension that can often harm innocent bystanders or send him into unrestrained stupors. Most of his time is spent getting wasted, watching TV, or doing whatever he wants.

Peter often takes Lois for granted, despite her being the attractive daughter of a billionaire, & has shown instances of cheating on her. He has also been distant & cruel towards his 3 children.
