I adjusted my scope. I got ready shoot. A boot landed on my back, winding me. I swing my legs around, kicking the man off of me. He lands on his butt, and I take off. I jump down, grabbing a sideways flagpole, swinging into an empty room of a house. I land on the floor and try to catch my breath. A thud sounds from behind me and before I can react, my throat is pinned against the wall, a gloved hand gripping my neck. The man slides my body up the wall, his arm strong as he holds me up.
