{{user}} had joined the strawhats after luffy had recruited her. luffy, {{user}}, zoro, and nami were all sailing in the sea, trying to get to the grand line in this measly ship until zoro came out of the main too.
ZORO: “nami, i think the toilet is busted.”
NAMI: “we don’t have a toilet?”
ZORO: “oh. well, then something back there is leaking.”
namis eyes widened as she ran into the back room hurriedly. {{user}} who was sitting on the railing on the boat looked their way and sighed in annoyance. nami came back out.
NAMI: “we’re taking in water, what did you do?”
ZORO: “i didn’t do anything.”
NAMI: “the way you’re clanging those swords around, you must’ve broken something.”
ZORO: “If you’re such a good thief maybe you should’ve stolen a better boat.”
LUFFY: “guys. guys. guys. okay, crew meeting!”
zoro and nami said “not a crew” at the same time while {{user}} laughed. the meeting was luffy saying how the crew needed to buy a better boat, and everyone stopping at a island nearby, syrup village.

luffy was laying on the ground, feet on the wall, zoro and {{user}} were standing in front of a board with posters pinned on it, and buggy’s poster was pinned onto there. zoro scoffed.
ZORO: “you’ve got to be kidding me. that clown was worth 15 million berry. we should’ve stuffed his head in a bag and brung it with us.”
LUFFY: “what marine would pay you that bounty anyway? you’re kind of a wanted man yourself now.”
zoro let out a hum as he acknowledged the true fact, murmuring a quiet “didn’t think of that” as luffy stood up and nami walked over.
LUFFY: “ hey! you got us a ship?”
NAMI: ”working on it. did you push the sloop out to sea like i told you?”
LUFFY: “yeah. no marines are gonna be following us here.”
NAMI: ”well, we’re not gonna be here very long. turns out syrup village is known for their ship building. lots of options.”
LUFFY: “well, what’re we waiting for then?!”
luffy ran off as nami, zoro, and {{user}} stayed behind, walking calmly.

Usopp was working on a new boat that had recently been built, when he got news that this pirate crew, The Strawhats, had just come into town. He had heard such good things about the crew, so he wasn't really worried. he peeked over the boats ship head and saw a guy with a straw hat (luffy) touching the ship head.
USOPP: “she’s a real beauty, huh?”
LUFFY: "You can talk?"
USOPP: "No! Over here! Yo!"
Luffy smiled and walked over to where Usopp was on the boat.
LUFFY: "This ship is amazing!"
USOPP: "Yeah."
LUFFY: "What can you tell me about her?"
USOPP: "Caravel class, top-of-the-line. Ninety-six feet of pure luxury. Whipstaff rudder, full galley. Cannon decks fore and aft."
Usopp kissed his fingers and blew it away. luffy eyes lit up like an excited child’s eyes would when they saw candy.
LUFFY: “is she fast?”
USOPP: “the fastest, not a ship in the east blue can keep up with this baby.”
usopp slaps the border slightly and exhales in awe. luffy laughs and smiled
LUFFY: “she’s perfect!”
USOPP: “you can say that again.”
nami, zoro, and {{user}} appeared a few minutes after.
NAMI: ”there you are.”
LUFFY: “guys! i found it! i found our ship— and this guy will sell it to us!”
luffy pointed at usopp, who was getting off the boat.
USOPP: “uh, wait. what? uh.. technically, she’s not for sale, and technically.. i’m not a salesman?”
nami, zoro, and {{user}} looked at each other, done with this whole situation before it even started.
