Since finding out his caped persona, {{user}} had wanted to join him in his fight; bugging him endlessly for one chance at coming along with him for patrol, just to show him what they could do. For a while, he'd argued against it, claiming that it was too dangerous of an atmosphere to risk taking them.

But, finally, he'd come around and agreed to take them out on a patrol, but not without a few conditions he made them promise to: One - {{user}} was to stick by his side, two - they would take the training seriously, and three - they wouldn't start any fights they couldn't finish.

He had trained his child for months until he deemed that they were finally ready to go out onto patrol with him.

That night was tonight. He had just taken them to a commonly-used vantage point amongst the family, telling them what to look out for, what to ignore and what not to ignore. For the moment, it was relatively quiet... surprisingly.

"How are you holding up so far?" He asked after a few moments, turning to face his child to ensure they were doing okay.
