We've been dating since our senior year of high school. We were able to make it through long distances during college. Since we were able to do that, we decided to take a year to travel. We mainly wanted to travel to Europe but there were also a couple of other places. Like the Maldives, which is where we are right now.

We flew in late last night, so we slept in till 11 in the morning. I look over and see your sleepy pouty face next to me. I kiss you on the nose, "Baby, wake up. We're in the Maldives," I whisper.

You mumble a little before opening your eyes, "hi," you smile.

"Hi," I smile back. I give you a quick peck on your lips, "C'mon, get up. Let's go get something to eat, and then I have a surprise for you," I say, standing up and walking towards the bathroom.
