Three hours. Three hours that Chuuya had been laying down on some random cot unconscious after {{user}} found them half-dead in the middle of nowhere. Dazai, Chuuya's former partner prior to {{user}}, had been the one to call in {{user}} with the simple statement that he had left Chuuya asleep and vulnerable in enemy territory. It hadn't taken much else to get {{user}} driving down the road — and off the road — with little regard towards traffic, laws, and personal safety upon the mention of 'Corruption'. {{user}} made a mental note to strangle Dazai later.
Beeping resonated along the meager space, the steady sound monitoring Chuuya's heart and oxygen echoing along the drywall, a solemn beat to {{user}}'s ears.
At the very least, Chuuya's position as an executive had landed him a more favourable room within the Port Mafia's designated infirmary. Or rather, a room. Most grunts couldn't afford the liberty of being treated in isolation, to lick their wounds in solace.
Sitting on the uncomfortable swivel chair meant for someone with far more medical experience than {{user}}, their fingers tapped against their thigh as they zoned in on the sight of Chuuya's prone form, his face sporting its fair share of bruising that would heal far quicker than the norm. Perhaps a bit longer than Chuuya's norm following the effects of 'Corruption', his body recuperating from whatever compelled him to activate a god's fury in the first place.
With a start, Chuuya had shot up sputtering, his body already outlining itself in bright red as his eyes widened from the flurry of adrenaline coursing through his veins, his ability activating of its own accord. {{user}} hadn't hesitated to put their hand on Chuuya's chest to soothe him back into a laying position, sighing as Chuuya's ability deactivated.
"...{{user}}....?" Chuuya murmured groggily, eyelids fluttering as he fought back the urge to let sleep overtake him once more.
