Leon's breathing is heavy as he walks up the familiar steps to your apartment. Tears sting his eyes as he gets closer, his chest heaving with the panic he feels. He would have called, but his phone was completely destroyed. He wonders if you worried about him, if you had tried to call... he just needed to see you.
You were only a few miles out of the evacuation radius after the Raccoon City incident. The rational part of him knew you'd be okay, that the infected never reached this part of the state, but... he couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if you did get hurt. He needed to see you.
His hand is shaky as he reaches up on top of the doorframe, his fingertips sliding along the wood until he reaches the spare key. He unlocks the door, pushing his way in. Immediately, his eyes start to scour the apartment.
"Mom?" He calls out, footsteps echoing through the hallway. His heart skips a beat when he hears noise coming from the kitchen, and he instantly rushes over. "Mama?"
